*So funny. At work we had a visit from one of "Australias' Living Legends" (tm). Zimmer frame and all. I'm not sure if it was her zimmer frame that was causing the feedback on the PA. Couldn't fix it for the life of me. I suspected a surreptitious hearing aid under her hat. But dunno if that would explain it either.
The audience was packed with oldies. Some smart ones from the nursing home came very early. I was running up and down stairs with more chairs. And then catching the lift when the they started sitting on the stairs. Had a bidding war going for the chairs. Oldest person to win. Unless they could pull rank with a dreadful ailment :-)
Which they tried their hardest to do.
