How to combat 'Come-down Tuesday'
Up early and take many vitamins and St Johns Wort.
Open the Library to find overflowing book chutes. This means the morning desk shift is too busy to stop and think downer thoughts.
Muscle relaxants and large coffee in combo = no stress headache :-)
Afternoon alternating between braindead cutting and laminating forcreation of halloween display, and heavy duty brainwork focusing on updating collection development policies. Calculating amount of recent payrise means I feel half motivated and half guilted into working harder.
Afternoon supplement = a green fruit juice drink that contains: Banana,passionfruit, plum, lemon juice, spirulina, chlorella (no, not cholera -but it gave me a start!), alfalfa, kelp, spinach, stinging nettle anddulse seaweed.
My God.
