The Book Week fun continues...

Today 140 kids ended up being 170 teenagers.
The author/artist/guest speaker dude, drew a monkey mermaid for me to put up in the Library.
Tomorrow I will tell stories to families who are bringing their dinner into the Library as a picnic.
An interesting exercise - telling a story while your audience is ripping meat off a chicken wing with their teeth.
I'll give them bikkies and hot chocolate afterwards. And send the kiddies home full of sugar. We call it Librarians' Revenge. *evil grin*
